Clinical Communication Center Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill the primary clinical communication role between the Company and the care providers and members/patients of clients of the Company;

Responsibilities:

• Perform record reviews in such a ways as to maintain the highest level of quality and timeliness for MedAssurant’s overall chart abstraction service delivery, including;
• Electronically downloading record reviews to assigned computer system and data collection tool (DCT);
  • Requesting and logging-out from secure storage hard-copy charts received by MedAssurant that are requiring of review;
  • Performing record reviews with efficiency and quality;
  • Scanning relevant components of medical record to support each review per MedAssurant guidelines;
  • Uploading of completed record reviews to MedAssurant’s centralized server system through the Internet and associated web portal; and

Team Lead Clinical Communication Center

The Team Lead, Communication Center Clinical Operations reports to the Manager, Communication Center Operations. The Team Lead is directly responsible for the day to day and the overall performance, training and development of the nursing team assigned to telephonic member outreach for information collection, coaching and education. The teams will consist of 10-12 clinician FTE for which the Lead will monitor and drive individual performance, quality and productivity, including providing direct coaching, support and feedback. This will require significant coaching and mentoring, deep clinical skill and an understanding of the business objectives of the call center. The Lead will have individual and team performance (quality and productivity) metrics and will be expected to interact with our patients telephonically periodically to keep skills sharp, understand the technology and system use and quantify process/technology change impacts in detail.

Responsibilities:

• Review, broadly and completely, and summarize salient aspects of the clinical and health services research and other literatures relevant to MedAssurant analyses;
• Work with quantitative analysts to design and implement studies of outcomes including quality and clinical outcomes, cost and utilization outcomes, and satisfaction outcomes, for clients and for management;
• Assist with the preparation of documents and presentation materials describing analytic methods;
• Serve as expert resource on issues related to the topics of literature review;

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in health services research, epidemiology and/or public health. Clinical training and or experience a plus;
• Demonstrated competence at literature review and summary;

• Experience with healthcare utilization and/or outcomes research;
• Experience with data coding and medical terminology;

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Recent senior management experience within Medicare Advantage arena
