Keith R. Dunleavy, MD – President, Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Director
Dr. Dunleavy serves as President and CEO for MedAssurant, Inc., a nationwide provider of healthcare quality, care management, and financial performance improvement solutions empowered by advanced data analysis, abstraction, and verification systems. In this role, Dr. Dunleavy is responsible for the overall execution of the Company’s business plan, expansion of strategic relationships, and the identification and realization of Company product strategy and vision. During his tenure at MedAssurant, Dr. Dunleavy has focused on addressing the rising role of patient-specific healthcare data; the coordinated integration, abstraction and analysis of its discordant sources; and the resulting realization of material improvements in healthcare outcomes and concurrent financial performance. Prior to organizing the first predecessor affiliates of MedAssurant, Dr. Dunleavy worked in areas of management consulting designed to leverage the benefits of multidisciplinary personnel teams with prowess within the basic sciences, software technology, business strategy, finance, and operational scaling. In this role he has served in a wide range of design, strategy, and management positions for an array of basic science research, corporate development initiatives, and private equity projects. Dr. Dunleavy received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Engineering with High Honors from Dartmouth College where his thesis work focused on applications of computer-simulated artificial human cerebellar functional units. Dr. Dunleavy earned his doctorate in medicine from Harvard Medical School, completed his medical residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, practiced and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Dunleavy has authored or co-authored a number of scientific journal articles, abstracts, and proprietary research papers and has presented his work and materials at multiple national and international conferences.
Grey McLean, MBA – Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. McLean serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for MedAssurant. In this role, Mr. McLean holds responsibility for all service delivery and day-to-day operations of the Company, including all client project management, product service delivery, operational process design and execution, and human resource management across MedAssurant’s operating divisions. Prior to assuming his current position with MedAssurant, Mr. McLean served as Vice President of Operations for Founding Advisors, Inc., a specialized management consulting firm, where he was responsible for service delivery across all client projects as well as day-to-day operations spanning 42 states of operation. Mr. McLean has also served in various interim management and lead project manager roles for the Medical Reliance Group since 2002, including leading the development and implementation of Medical Site Reviewers’ market-leading HEDIS and Medicare risk adjustment medical record review solutions. Prior to joining Founding Advisors, Mr. McLean served as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting in Washington, D.C. where he assisted leading companies in the healthcare, financial services, telecommunications, and cable television industries. As a strategy consultant with Deloitte, Mr. McLean was engaged in the development and implementation of competitive strategies at the corporate, business unit, and functional levels for multiple Fortune 500 companies. Also while at Deloitte, Mr. McLean was engaged in operational consulting with experiences ranging from conducting detailed financial modeling and analyses surrounding the consolidation of call center operations to the design of new internal business processes within the insurance industry. He earned his MBA degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, graduating with high honors. Mr. McLean received a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Daniel L. Rizzo, CFA – Vice President, Chief Product Technology Officer
Mr. Rizzo serves as Vice President and Chief Product Technology Officer for MedAssurant. In this role, Mr. Rizzo holds responsibility for the design and development of all new products; oversight of data analytics and processing; data integration and mapping aspects of the service delivery process; oversight and implementation of the Company’s information technology security policies and procedures; and the assists with the coordination of financial planning and modeling associated with new product design. On behalf of MedAssurant, Mr. Rizzo has led the development and data processing of MedAssurant’s HEDIS Advantage™ and Capitation Risk Adjustment (CARA™) solutions and serves a key role with MedAssurant’s data integration and processing teams. As the former CFO of MedAssurant, Mr. Rizzo also continues to play a significant role in the Company’s processes of financial forecasting, modeling, and metric analyses. Prior to assuming his current position with MedAssurant, Mr. Rizzo served as Vice President of Product Development for Founding Advisors, Inc., a specialized management consulting firm. In the service of Founding Advisors, Mr. Rizzo has served in various product development roles on behalf of the Medical Reliance Group, including leading the technology and software design and development of the core products of Medical Site Reviewers. Prior to joining Founding Advisors, Mr. Rizzo was a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen, LLP, where he advised clients in the health care, telecommunications, and insurance industries. In his capacity as lead analyst, Mr. Rizzo performed in-depth data analysis and financial investigations of health and life insurance companies in order to evaluate appropriate recapture of reinsurance receivables and government coverage for customers of life insurance companies in liquidation. While at the firm, he also performed in-depth industry financial investigations in support of clients’ strategic expansion and investment decisions. Mr. Rizzo holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Loyola College in Maryland.
Raymond K. Walheim, JD – Vice President of Finance, General Counsel, Director
Mr. Walheim serves as Vice President of Finance and General Counsel for MedAssurant where he is responsible for oversight and ultimate responsibility for all financial and legal affairs of the of the Company. In this role, Mr. Walheim directs the analysis and execution of corporate financial operations and policies, capital financing, legal compliance, governance, strategic relationships, contract review, development and negotiation, as well as assistance in the development and pursuit of financial, human resource, and other operational strategies which enhance revenue generation, efficiency, customer service delivery capabilities, satisfaction, liability protection, and ultimately enterprise value of the Company. Mr. Walheim also serves as the Privacy and Compliance Officer for the Company, with oversight of data privacy and security matters (including HIPAA compliance). Prior to assuming his current position with MedAssurant, Mr. Walheim served as General Counsel for Founding Medical Informatics and Founding Advisors, a role holding highly similar responsibilities and through which Mr. Walheim gained substantial experience legal matters within the healthcare and technology arenas. Previously, Mr. Walheim was an attorney at Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP where he advised rapid growth clients as a member of the firm’s Technology and Emerging Companies, and Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions Groups. Prior to his tenure at Ballard Spahr, Mr. Walheim served as a CPA at the accounting firm Butcher & Singer and Director of Finance for the American Society of CLU. Mr. Walheim has written and spoken on a variety of securities, venture capital, finance and emerging company issues. He has served in leadership positions with a number of professional associations, including Chairman of the Committee on Securities Regulation of the Philadelphia Bar Association and was a member of the Executive Committee of the Business Law Section, and the Negotiated Acquisitions Committee and Venture Capital and Private Equity Committee of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section. Mr. Walheim holds a B.S.A degree in Accounting from Villanova University and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law.
Myles Vogel, Ph.D. – Chief Information Officer
Dr. Vogel serves as Chief Information Officer for MedAssurant. In this role, Dr. Vogel holds responsibility over coordination of technology and infrastructure at MedAssurant. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Dr. Vogel served as Senior Corporate Director of Information Technology at Ciena Corporation (Nasdaq: CIEN) where he was responsible for technology project management, enterprise applications, eBusiness, overall systems administration, and Sarbanes-Oxley change control, amongst other responsibilities, since Ciena’s IPO approximately seven years ago. Prior to his tenure at Ciena, Dr. Vogel served as CIO and/or similar rolls at several Fortune 500 companies such as MCI Corporate, Castrol Oil, and Becton Dickinson. Dr. Vogel holds responsibility over all technology support at MedAssurant, spanning from the Company’s internal administrative technology needs to its client service offerings – including development, implementation, support, expansion, and security of MedAssurant’s substantial technology product and service needs. Dr. Vogel’s most recent degree is a Doctorate in Management from The University of Maryland University College, for which his dissertation addressed “Leveraging Information Technology Competencies and Capabilities for a Competitive Advantage.” Furthermore, Dr. Vogel has several other advanced degrees and undergraduate degrees all focused on Information technology. Dr. Vogel is also an Adjunct Professor of Information technology at The Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins University.
Rick Lasch – Director of Clinical & Quality Outcomes Analysis and Improvement Solutions, Corporate Director
Mr. Lasch serves as a Director of the Clinical and Quality Outcomes Analysis and Improvement Solutions Services for MedAssurant where he is responsible for management, development, oversight, and quality provision of MedAssurant’s nationwide clinical and quality outcomes services and HEDIS Advantage™ administrative reporting software and medical chart review services. Leveraging deep experience in medical data abstraction and healthcare regulatory requirements, Mr. Lasch also oversees the maintenance, development, and delivery of the Company’s Custom Chart Abstraction and physician credentialing review services lines. Prior to assuming his current position within MedAssurant, Mr. Lasch served as the President of the Medical Reliance Group, overseeing its substantial expansion from the delivery of its first onsite credentialing review in Michigan in 1999 to providing onsite and remote services to 42 states in 2006. Prior to transitioning to the Medical Reliance Group, Mr. Lasch was President of Diversified Medical Staffing LLC (DMS), the Medical Reliance Group’s medical staffing company, from 1995 through 1998. In this position, he focused on increasing revenue, efficiency, and responsiveness to customers. Under his leadership, DMS successfully developed and deployed multiple new services, significantly expanded the Company’s geographic presence and implemented technology and processes which substantially streamlined operations. Mr. Lasch holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University.
Paige C. Kilian, M.D. – Associate Medical Director
Dr. Kilian serves as Associate Medical Director for MedAssurant. In this role, Dr. Kilian oversees the Quality Department and is responsible for provision and maintenance of best-practice and evidence-based standards across all clinical product lines. Furthermore, Dr. Kilian is directly involved in the clinical design of MedAssurant’s medical informatics product lines, including MedAssurant’s Medicare Risk Adjustment (CARA) solution and CCS Advantage solutions. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Dr. Kilian was in clinical practice with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, where her responsibilities included patient care, clinical training of medical residents, and serving as Office Medical Director. Dr. Kilian graduated Summa cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Biology and received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, where she was elected into the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Kilian completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Heather Ramsey – Managing Director, Medical Record Review Operations
Ms. Ramsey serves as the Managing Director of Medical Record Review Operations where she is responsible for management, oversight, and quality provision of all medical record review integration and service delivery operations for medical data abstraction and review projects across the Company’s solutions. In this role and formerly as the COO of Medical Site Reviewers (MSR) (the medical records review division of the Company), Ms. Ramsey has overseen three successive year’s of triple-digit growth in medical record review and abstraction services which has now scaled to execute upwards of 20,000 onsite, remote, and electronic medical record (EMR) reviews and abstractions per day. Furthermore, she was integrally involved in the development and oversaw the nationwide deployment of chart review services per ICD-9 requirements in support of the Company’s Medicare Capitation Risk Adjustment (CARA™) product. Prior to joining MSR, Ms. Ramsey was Director of Programs at The Guidance Center, a large mental health agency based in Michigan. As Director of Programs, Ms. Ramsey was responsible for project management, strategic planning, program development, and staff supervision. She oversaw budget development and financial management of specialty programs, and was involved in the development and implementation of a system to monitor staff/clinic productivity across 14 locations. Previously, Ms. Ramsey served as Program Director for Rainbow Rehabilitation, Inc., the largest head injury program in Michigan. Ms. Ramsey was in charge of maintaining Company human resources, interfaced with external customers, oversaw the maintenance of facilities in accordance with State licensing and other accrediting bodies, ensured quality care by directly supervising professional staff, and oversaw budgets and revenues. Ms. Ramsey holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College. Prior to her studies in the U.S., Ms. Ramsey attended the International Institute in Madrid, Spain.
Deborah Mahan, RN, MBA – Director, Client Services
Ms. Mahan serves as Director of Client Services for MedAssurant where she holds responsibility for the management and oversight of client service delivery operations. In this role, Ms. Mahan is responsible for HEDIS Advantage and CARA product-line customers and associated service delivery processes, spanning from initial client integration, through service delivery to completion of final solution deliverables. Most recently, Ms. Mahan’s management of client services included not only the 2007 HEDIS season, which encompassed the simultaneous servicing of 83 HEDIS and custom chart abstraction studies across 31 states of onsite operations, but also the delivery of MedAssurant’s medical informatics and chart review services to clients across all 50 states. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Ms. Mahan served TAP Pharmaceuticals, a $4 billion pharmaceutical company focused in gastroenterology, urology and women’s health, where she oversaw all training activities for TAP’s sales force specific to Lupron and the Managed Markets/Managed Care and Hospital business. In this role, Ms. Mahan held responsibility for evaluating all programs and making all decisions regarding design, development, and implementation of training content specific and collaborating with TAP’s marketing department to identify new product training programs and strategies to equip both field sales personnel and managers. Ms. Mahan, a registered nurse, holds a Bachelor of Science, graduating Magna cum Laude, from Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA and an MBA in Marketing from Capella University.
Kathleen A. Boyle, RN – Director, Disease Management
Ms. Boyle serves as Director of Disease Management for MedAssurant where she holds responsibility for the overall operational, clinical, quality, compliance, and financial success of MedAssurant’s disease management product and service lines. Within this role, Ms. Boyle is responsible for operational service delivery of MedAssurant’s CCS Advantage™ and ePASS™ to its health plan clients. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Ms. Boyle served as a Senior Director of Health Services for Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico where she held responsibility for developing, re-aligning, and expanding the health plan’s disease management, case management, and utilization management functions. Prior to joining Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico, Ms. Boyle, ascended through the management ranks of M-Plan, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana, to serve as the Vice President of Medical Management. In this role, Ms. Boyle achieved a wide breadth of accomplishments including developing the plan’s disease management program utilizing both internal and outsourced resources, enhancing HEDIS outcomes through disease management interventions, and partnering with the pharmacy team to enhance patient medication compliance through disease management interventions. Prior to joining M-Plan, Ms. Boyle held management leadership positions within disease management and utilization management in the health plan industry, as well as grounding her clinical knowledge in extensive experience as a practicing nurse. Ms. Boyle, a registered nurse, holds her B.S.N. from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana and her M.H.S.A from College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
Ann L. Parker, RN, COL, USAF, NC – Director of Quality
Management, Operations
Ms.
Parker serves as a Director of Quality Management for MedAssurant.
In this role, she leads and maintains oversight of MedAssurant’s
dedicated quality department of more than 200 nurses and certified
medical coders. This department is dedicated to ensuring clinical
abstraction accuracy and data validation compliance of MedAssurant
services per product-line specific technical specifications.
Furthermore, Ms. Parker holds responsibility for assisting MedAssurant’s
clients address the many regulatory and financial audits, inquiries,
and validation reviews that are now routine within the healthcare
and related financial marketplace. Prior to joining MedAssurant,
Ms. Parker served with distinction as an officer in the United States
Air Force, achieving the rank of full colonel. Her last assignment
included command of the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General’s
Clinical Performance Improvement division, where she was the primary
advisor to the Air Force Surgeon General regarding her oversight
of the entire Air Force Medical Service’s Accreditation and
Military Treatment Facilities. Ms. Parker graduated with a
M.S. degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University
and a B.S. degree in Nursing from Mt. St. Vincent College.
Eileen Giardina, BSN - Director of Quality Management,
Policy
Ms. Giardina serves as a Director of Quality Management for MedAssurant.
In this role, she holds leadership and management responsibility
for the quality of MedAssurant’s accreditation, training,
and quality monitoring programs across all MedAssurant services.
Prior to joining MedAssurant, Ms. Giardina served as a Director
of Quality Management for UnitedHealthcare where she focused upon
building quality programs to improve the Department of Health and
Mental Hygiene State Report Card, increase the health plan’s
HEDIS preventive health scores and improve member and provider satisfaction.
Before joining UnitedHealthcare, she served as Director Quality
Improvement for XLHealth where she responsible for building a clinical
quality program that supported the organization’s disease
management contracts, leading the organization to successfully earn
a full three year NCQA Disease Management Accreditation, and creating
de novo a broad-scale clinical corporate training department. Prior
to XLHealth, Ms. Giardina’s career included serving in a variety
of leadership roles within the healthcare industry at MAMSI, UnitedHealthcare,
and Prudential healthcare. Ms. Giardina, a registered nurse, graduated
with a B.S. degree in Nursing from Long Island University and a
Master degree from Adelphi University and the University of Phoenix.
Reid McLaughlin – Director of I.T. Infrastructure
Mr.
McLaughlin serves as Director of I.T. Infrastructure for MedAssurant
where he holds responsibility for managing, maintaining, and administering
all technological system infrastructure (hardware and software)
for the Company, its personnel, operations, and clients of the Company.
Furthermore, this position holds responsibility for overseeing,
managing and maintaining all data and system security, backup, redundancy,
and readiness for all Company technology systems. Prior to
assuming his current role with MedAssurant, Mr. McLaughlin led the
technology team of Founding Medical Informatics and Founding Advisors
through the business-driven formation and execution of software
development and technical infrastructure design initiatives on behalf
of Founding’s clients. His infrastructure maintenance
and technology development work at Founding encompassed client projects
within a variety of industries including the successful development,
testing, and implementation of an intelligent, network-based medical
credentials verification applications, medical chart and quality
improvement database systems, and healthcare data monitoring systems.
Prior to joining Founding, Mr. McLaughlin served as Vice President
of Technology at Azura Media, a work-flow and document management
applications company, where he successfully led the design, development,
and implementation of the company’s primary client application.
Before joining Azura Media, he served as Product Manager for boats.com,
the premier boating website on the Internet. In this role,
he managed the development and launch of the organization’s
website, the company’s primary service delivery and client-facing
channel. Previously, Mr. McLaughlin served as the Manager,
Marine Software Development for WNI Oceanroutes which provides software-based
decision support services to maximize time and cost efficiency within
the global marine transport industry. Mr. McLaughlin holds
a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode
Island.
Peter Grivas – Director of Information Services, Medical Record Review Operations
Mr. Grivas serves as a Director of Information Services, Medical Record Review Operations where he is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting the core technology solutions supporting the Company’s Discover™ medical chart abstraction capabilities. In this role and formerly as the Director of Software Development of Medical Site Reviewers (MSR) (the medical records review division of the Company), Mr. Grivas’ contribution to the Discover™ solutions center on the Company’s innovative onsite, remote, and electronic medical record (EMR) medical facility, record, and data review solutions, including its Site Review Support Application (SRSA) and Data Collection Tool (DCT). The SRSA system is at the core of the Company’s capability to receive, process, coordinate field operations, complete, and score for clients completed medical data review requests in a rapid and high-quality fashion. Correspondingly, the DCT is the organization’s highly flexible and scalable tool utilized to conduct field and in-office reviews of medical charts and facilities exceeding 10,000 reviews per day on a nationwide basis. Mr. Grivas has served in this role through multiple years of 100% growth for MSR and now MedAssurant. Prior to joining Medical Site Reviewers in 2002, Mr. Grivas was Senior Application Developer at iNetCity Solutions in Sterling Heights, Michigan. At iNetCity, Mr. Grivas supervised developers and led development of corporate and e-commerce websites. Mr. Grivas holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Engineering, cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
Charles M. Wahlig, MBA – Director of Information Services, Risk Adjustment & Related Products
Mr. Wahlig serves as a Director of Information Services for Risk Adjustment and Related Products. In this role, Mr. Wahlig is responsible for developing, managing, and supporting the core technology solutions supporting the Company’s Medicare and Medicaid Capitation Risk Adjustment (CARA™) and HEDIS Advantage™ solutions. This role encompasses directly designing, developing, and supporting resident web, thin client, and other such application systems, as well as managing and maintaining all software, data management, and system infrastructure required to support these product lines. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Mr. Wahlig served as Director of Information Services for The Vane Brothers Company (Maritime Transportation), Baltimore, MD, where he was responsible for the company’s information technology architecture, strategic vision and daily operations spanning all technology initiatives for the company. Among a variety of cost saving, I.T. restructuring, and infrastructure development accomplishments, Mr. Wahlig directed the development of a scheduling and integrated logistic system, which coordinated the movement of over 70 petroleum vessels and 400 employees along the eastern seaboard. Prior to joining The Vane Brothers Company, Mr. Wahlig held senior information technology positions spanning both infrastructure and software development at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Constellation Energy, and Baltimore Gas and Electric. Mr. Wahlig earned his Masters in Business Administration degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, and he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.
Bill Shuman - Director of Information Systems, Systems
Development, Disease Management and In-Market Communications Systems
Mr.
Shuman serves as a Director of Information Systems in charge of
systems development for Disease Management and In-Market Communication
Systems. In this role, Mr. Shuman is responsible for the design
and development of the core technology solutions behind the Company’s
CCS Advantage™ and ePASS™ solutions. This role encompasses
directly designing, developing, and supporting resident web, thin
client, and other such application systems, as well as managing
and maintaining all software, data management, and system infrastructure
required to support these product lines. Prior to joining MedAssurant,
Mr. Shuman served as the Director of Software Development for Inclinix,
Inc., where he was responsible for leading a development team in
the design, development, and maintenance of a variety of medical
informatics systems including pharmaceutical study patient screening
applications, virtual medical record applications, and clinical
disease identification and demographic and disease distribution
mapping systems. Prior to Inclinix, Mr. Shuman was a member of extensive
software development teams for a variety of private enterprises
including Chemonics and Constellation Energy. Mr. Shuman earned
his Bachelor of Arts from Temple University, where he graduated
Cum Laude.
Alfredo Valiente, MA – Director of Information Services, Disease Management & In-Market Outreach Services
Mr. Valiente serves as a Director of Information Services in charge of systems operation for Disease Management and In-Market Outreach Services. In this role, Mr. Valiente is responsible for supporting the core technology solutions and operational IT and data needs within the Company's CCS Advantage™ and ePASS™ solutions. This role encompasses the managing and maintaining all software, data management, custom query, and system infrastructure required to support these product lines and their day-to-day service needs. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Mr. Valiente served as Senior Technology Manager for I4Commerce Inc. where he held responsibility for software development and database design for key solutions for key Fortune 500 clients. Prior to I4Commerce, Mr. Valiente spearheaded the planning, design, elaboration, release and support phases of enterprise software development projects for e.magination network, LLC in Baltimore, Maryland. Before joining e.magination network, Mr. Valiente held senior technology development roles in a variety of leading organizations including Bank One, Wells Fargo Bank, and Scient - St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco, California. Mr. Valiente earned his Masters degree from Harvard University, and he received a Bachelor's degree from University of Southern California.
Tammy J. Woodfork, PHR – Director of Human Resources
Ms. Woodfork serves as Director of Human Resources for MedAssurant, where she holds responsibility for the leadership and comprehensive management of all aspects of the human resources function for the Company across its centralized headquarters, regional operations centers, and field staff. In this role, Ms. Woodfork oversees the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for all Company staffing needs, as well as management of the development, coordination, and monitoring of compliance with corporate human resource policies and procedures for the Company. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Ms. Woodfork served as Director, Human Resources for Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, MD, where she had previously served as the Manager of Employee Relations. In this role, Ms. Woodfork was led the operations, management and strategic direction of all Human Resource and Employee Health programs and policies for the 1700-employee hospital. Ms. Woodfork is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE), and the Association for Training and Development (ASTD). Ms. Woodfork received her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Oakwood College, Huntsville, AL, is working on her Masters in Business Administration from Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD (prospective 2008 graduate), and several professional certifications.
Robert Schlissler, RN – Director, Facilities and Administration
Mr. Schlissler serves as the Director of Facilities and Administration where he is responsible for the principal management and oversight of MedAssurant’s facilities and administrative staff functions and associated procurement. This role encompasses the management of the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of all MedAssurant physical assets and equipment, oversight of the corporate administrative functions, and control and oversight of all corporate purchasing needs. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Mr. Schlissler served as Associate Director of Facility and Property Management for Johns Hopkins Real Estate in Baltimore, MD. In this role, Mr. Schlissler was responsible for the 135 acre Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus in its entirety and oversaw the operations of eight Johns Hopkins research and administrative properties. Prior to Johns Hopkins, Mr. Schlissler served as Director of Construction Planning and Design for Lifebridge Health in Baltimore, MD, and prior thereto served as Regional Director of Property Management & Construction for Genesis Health Ventures in Towson, MD. Mr. Schlissler, in addition to being a registered nurse, holds an Associates Degree from Anne Arundel Community College, as well as several professional certificates in management and business administration.
Kimberly Putnam – Senior Manager of Corporate Marketing
Ms. Putnam serves as the Senior Manager of Corporate Marketing and oversees all corporate marketing and communications initiatives, as well as overall brand management. Ms. Putnam leads an in-house creative team, managing the development of collateral materials, corporate displays, e-communications, print and online advertising, direct outreach campaigns, and materials to support MedAssurant’s service solutions. Prior to joining MedAssurant, Ms. Putnam served as Senior Account Executive for The Cyphers Agency, a boutique advertising agency in Annapolis, Maryland specializing in brand development where she led the research, account planning, and brand development efforts for a broad spectrum of clients. Prior to The Cyphers Agency, Ms. Putnam served as Associate Publisher for Agora Publishing in Baltimore, Maryland where she managed all aspects of the production of several monthly publications including editorial, advertising, and creative management. Ms. Putnam graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.
