Willis H. Gee

Vice President of Claims Integrity

​Willis Gee serves as Vice President of Claims Integrity for MedAssurant. In this role, Mr. Gee has responsibility for the execution of product design, development, and implementation as well as business development and expansion of the Company’s fraud, waste, and abuse products and services. With more than 10 years of health care experience, Mr. Gee has held various leadership positions where he has been responsible for managing across complex, multi-disciplinary functions including eBusiness, information management, sales, and account management and operations.

Prior to joining MedAssurant, Mr. Gee served as Vice President of Operations Management and Integration at WellPoint, Inc, where he had overall responsibility for strategic planning, strategic sourcing, front end claims, EDI, print mail and ID cards – in support of the company's 35 million members. Before assuming this role, Mr. Gee served as an Account Executive within WellPoint’s National Account segment where he was responsible for new business and product implementations, analytics, and client support. Mr. Gee was also served as Director of Information Management and was instrumental in creating a centralized Enterprise Information Management program through the development of a detailed strategic framework, operating model, and technical infrastructure.

Prior to joining WellPoint, Mr. Gee served as Director of eBusiness at CIGNA HealthCare where he was responsible for the development and execution of a web-based consumerism strategy.

Mr. Gee earned a masters degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelors of science degree from The College of William and Mary.
