Troy Dinkel, MD

Chief Product Officer

Dr. Troy Dinkel serves as the Chief Product Officer at MedAssurant. In this role Dr. Dinkel holds the responsibility for managing and overseeing the implementation, service delivery, performance, and reporting of all developed product and solution groups of the Company.

Prior to joining MedAssurant, Dr. Dinkel served as Chief Operations Officer, leading a key role in the development and expansion of Lafayette Emergency Care and Monticello Emergency Care, providers of acute care and radiological services for hospitals systems within Indiana. At LEC and MEC Dr. Dinkel was responsible for all operations as well as a wide array of corporate initiatives encompassing pay-for-performance programs, care delivery design, provider management, government audit and appeal programs, strategic partnerships, corporate strategic growth programs, and efficiency improvement programs.

Prior to this, Dr. Dinkel served as Medical Director at Great Lakes Naval Hospital Emergency Department and as Assistant Department Head at U.S. Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the respective acute care operations and resources. Dr. Dinkel received his doctorate of medicine from Johns Hopkins University, a
master's of Chemistry from Cambridge University, and a bachelors of science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy where he graduated Valedictorian. Dr. Dinkel is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
